KINGSTON, NY, September 25, 2014 —
"History is not only repeating itself, it’s bearing down on us with lightning speed. Talk of war once again rules the political dialogue. And it appears the general public is buying it — again."

With that declaration, global forecaster Gerald Celente kicks off his Trends Monthly newsletter for September, released today by the Trends Research Institute. The electronic newsletter, covering a wide range of topics, debuted in August to keep subscribers to Celente's quarterly Trends Journal and Trendsresearch.com informed on the emerging trends institute analysts have been watching.

Trends Monthly is emailed to subscribers each month and made accessible to them on the institute's primary website, Trendsresearch.com.

The September edition leads off with biting commentary from Celente on the renewed march to war unfolding during the last few weeks. His commentary takes direct aim at the exposure given "the likes of John McCain, Dick Cheney, Peter King, Lindsey Graham and a stable full of retired generals, whose track records scream sameness and failure in the same breath...”

The institute's trend line on this matter is clear: Dropping bombs in Syria is history repeating itself. “Without blinking, each and every one of them (political leaders and so-called military experts driving the invasion) touts the same failed reasoning for this insanity, only replacing words like Al Qaeda with terms like ISIS.”

Elsewhere, September's Trends Monthly delves into the surge in alternative lending operations, the policing for profit trend, the decline of trust across a wide range of institutions and much more. The edition also releases a detailed agenda for the institute's second symposium, History Before It Happens In Your Life, slated for Oct. 17-19 at its historic facilities in Colonial Kingston. Celente and his Trends Research Institute launched this new monthly electronic newsletter to augment the institute's signature publication, the quarterly Trends Journal, with ongoing analysis and updates on trends as they develop in economics, health, technology, media, education, politics, pop culture and other areas.

The institute was founded by Celente in 1980. The Trends Journal, available in both print and digital formats, provides in-depth trends analysis and forecasts across a wide range of essential issues. In addition to the magazine and the monthly newsletter, the institute provides multimedia content for subscribers, including Celente's nightly Trends In The News broadcasts, at trendsresearch.com, as well as a number of services for organizations and industries, including consulting, customized trend forecasting, symposiums, keynote addresses and conferences at the institute's facilities.
