Global forecaster Gerald Celente and his Trends Research Institute hosted a three-day conference this summer at the institute's historic facilities in Colonial Kingston, NY. History Before It Happens was the first in a series of different events planned at the institute. The inaugural conference attracted 40 participants from five countries. Formal presentations, group discussions, social events and, of course, keynotes and question-and-answer sessions by Celente were among the highlights. The event culminated with an evening barbecue in the garden of a 1751 home, one of the many historic facilities where conference events were held. The next conference, this one dedicated to learning and prospering from trend-tracking strategies, is planned for October 17-19, the height of the fall leaves season in the Hudson Valley.
