8. THE NEW MILLENNIAL POLITICAL PARTY
It’s more than just millennial madness fueling the "Cryptomania Cash-In" craze.
It’s more than distrust directed at the conventional monetary/fiat currency system that’s making them seek alternatives outside the establishment.
They’re mad about the current political system, particularly in the United States. Once upon a time in the Land of Opportunity, polls showed the future was brighter than the present. Not anymore. According to a Harvard study, a mere 14 percent of young Americans believe the country is headed in the right direction.
Democrats and Republicans! Millennials, now the biggest voting block in the US, despise both parties. That same study showed less than 30 percent believe either party cares about people like them.
And, a recent NBC News poll found a strong majority of millennials — 71 percent — say the Republican and Democratic parties do such a poor job of representing the American people that a third major party is needed.
TREND FORECAST: The new American political party will not simply mirror the European populist brand. While it will reflect some of those principles, we forecast a “progressive-libertarian” movement that supports lost liberal principles of no foreign entanglements, no government interference into private lives, and a nation whose resources are directed to the public good rather than special corporate interests.
The Libertarian Party was founded in 1972 by political philosophers disgusted with the D/R duopoly. It will forever be on the fringe because it does not embrace taking other people's stuff for redistribution, with the lion's share skimmed off by the ruling elite.
I would LOVE to see widespread enthusiasm for the 45-year-old Libertarian Party, but their failure to embrace the Universal Free Lunch will keep them on the fringes.
To my supreme disgust, socialism and collapse seem to be on our horizon.
Government, SOE companies, and private corporations are all tied in too deeply within the control of overall Government.
Government policy changes, whether new Government or traditional Government, would be difficult to make against the elite control. However, changes could be made very slowly with a extreme long term outlook, which would take several generations to happen... literally speaking, and yet still may fail to be enough of a change anyhow. The grandchildren (and great grandchildren) of today's 'owners' would not only have to be extremely proactive with these changes, but also avoid being turned to the dark side by greed and money, which is often what happens to liberal thinking people after they advance into the elite world through there own business, invention, or inheritance.
I'm optimistic that the Trend Forecast in the article is a possibility, but my belief in it is more hope than it is reality - based on human history and how 'control' has generally operated for several millennia.
In order for this Trend to work, I'll say what I've always been saying for 30 years now: Freedom, peace, and a much higher EQ may be reached by continued exponential growth of human race integration, the disappearance of religion, the parenting and education system for the young that teaches EQ and moral values, and most importantly the understanding and meaning of modern 21st century community whereby your community is no different than the other community...
For example:
black versus white,
country/culture versus neighboring country/culture such as Pakistan versus India or Germany versus France, Japan versus China,
your town is no different than the other town just because you have a better sports team,
your neighborhood is not better than the other neighborhood just because you have bigger houses.
It goes beyond the problem of just patriotic pride.
It is 'pride' itself that needs to be eliminated, and until that is gone, we will never move beyond the lower brain activity to unite as an intelligent species with high EQ and moral values.
This is why race integration and the disappearance of religion are huge stepping stones!!
With race integration, there is no war over race/culture... and with religion out the window, well, let's just say that we can create a new interpretation of 'the meaning of life', since the original meaning of life has been 'through religion' and has been good and bad at the same time - good for civility within the community, bad for the overall planet and integration of communities! And besides, the rules were always broken anyhow, even by the highest ranks!!
By the way, I agree with Ted's comment.
There is no edit feature, so I'm again stuck looking like a fool with grammatical errors:
...'an' extreme long term outlook... (not 'a' extreme),
...through 'their' own business... (not 'there')
